Arantxa Melendez is a rising senior at Suffolk and has demonstrated a solid commitment to the importance of academics, community engagement, and leadership. She is studying Political Science and History with a Black Studies minor. At Suffolk, she has been heavily involved in the school community and the city of Boston. She has taken on the role of President of the Caribbean Student Network, which has allowed the group to uplift the voices of black and brown students on campus. She will be attending law school next fall, with hopes of becoming an attorney soon.
